Erika Munson
Erika Munson grew up in Cambridge Massachusetts and has a BA in Fine Arts from Harvard University. She and her husband raised their 5 children in almost every Northeastern metropolitan area and also in Germany. Three years ago they moved to Utah. Erika has served in many capacities of the LDS church including Young Women’s President, Relief Society President and Nursery Leader. Erika now teaches at the Waterford School in Sandy and is a member of the Willow Canyon 3rd Ward. In May of 2012 she founded Mormons Building Bridges and marched with over 300 active Latter-day Saints in the Utah Pride parade. MBB is continuing to work for creating a safe and welcoming place for LGBT people in the LDS church.
